Supported Palladium Nanoparticles Synthesized by Living Plants as a Catalyst for Suzuki-Miyaura Reactions
The metal accumulating ability of plants has previously been used to capture metal contaminants from the environment; however, the full potential of this process is yet to be realized. Herein, the first use of living plants to recover palladium and produce catalytically active palladium nanoparticles is reported. This process eliminates the necessity for nanoparticle extraction from the plant a...
متن کاملAir-stable, recyclable, and time-efficient diphenylphosphinite cellulose-supported palladium nanoparticles as a catalyst for Suzuki–Miyaura reactions
A diphenylphosphinite cellulose palladium complex (Cell-OPPh(2)-Pd(0)) was found to be a highly efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. The products were obtained in good to excellent yield under mild reaction conditions. Moreover, the catalyst could be easily recovered by simple filtration and reused for at least 6 cycles without losing its activity.
متن کاملA novel 4-aminoantipyrine-Pd(II) complex catalyzes Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reactions of aryl halides
A simple and efficient catalytic system based on a Pd complex of 4-aminoantipyrine, 4-AAP-Pd(II), was found to be highly active for Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling of aryl iodides and bromides with phenylboronic acids under mild reaction conditions. Good to excellent product yields from the cross-coupling reaction can be achieved when the reaction is carried out in ethanol, in the open air, using...
متن کاملPolyionic polymers – heterogeneous media for metal nanoparticles as catalyst in Suzuki–Miyaura and Heck–Mizoroki reactions under flow conditions
The preparation of monolithic polyionic supports which serve as efficient heterogeneous supports for palladium(0) nanoparticles is described. These functionalized polymers were incorporated inside a flow reactor and employed in Suzuki-Miyaura and Heck cross couplings under continuous flow conditions.
متن کاملThe Use of Palladium on Magnetic Support as Catalyst for Suzuki–Miyaura Cross-Coupling Reactions
The development of new solid supports for palladium has received a lot of interest lately. These catalysts have been tested in a range of cross-coupling reactions, such as Suzuki–Miyaura, Mizoroki-Heck, and Sonogashira cross-coupling reactions, with good outcomes. Attaching the catalyst to a solid support simplifies the operations required in order to isolate and recycle the catalyst after a re...
